Lisa Pinheiro
Costa Rica Program Director, High School Programs
Lisa supports our high school-aged participants in Costa Rica. She conducts a special orientation geared toward unaccompanied minors, provides a local cell phone and checks in daily with text messages, leads two special activities each week for all high schoolers on-site, manages a 24-hour onsite emergency phone specifically for minors, and provides additional support services as needed.
Lisa Pinheiro is originally from Costa Rica, but has lived in the U.S.A. on several occasions. She studied photography and has been working in the field of tourism and study abroad for 17 years. She owns a tourism company and has worked as onsite director for PAA for 3 years. She’s a huge art, music and movie fan.
